Our machine learning platform is connected to cameras that businesses have in plain sight, such as retail environments, showrooms, financial institutions, etc. omniX uses the video footage to learn customers behavior and aims to enrich customer experiences with a particular brand.
We do not offer nor have facial recognition capabilities. Our software detects vehicles and their attributes, gender, age and sentiments of people as well as object shapes and colors.
We do not store any of the video data and we only use the meta data for learning, notifications, and analytics.
Any personal data that may be retained or used in the future will be in anonymized form without any means to revert it into identifiable data. All stored data will be encrypted.

If you are using an omniX mobile application (the “Mobile App.”) there are specific terms and conditions and additional things for which you are responsible. You need to keep secure your phone and access to any Mobile App. omniX therefore recommends that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features and it could mean that the Mobile App. will not work properly or at all.

You should be aware that there are certain things that omniX will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the Mobile App. will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider, but omniX cannot take responsibility for the Mobile App. not working properly if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi and you do not have any of your data allowance left.

If you are using the Mobile App. outside of an area with Wi-Fi, your terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the Mobile App. or other third party charges.
